My best friend Amy makes a mean Turkey Chili, and it’s a delicious, versatile recipe she likes to serve anytime – but especially on game-day. It can be served in any of my smaller casserole dishes or soup crocks for a casual weekend get-together with friends and family – or even if it’s just for the two of you.
Amy’s Turkey Chili recipe can be easily doubled to serve more people, and leftovers keep well in the fridge – if you can keep yourself from eating seconds!
Just like with my nachos, you’ll want to let everyone add their favorite toppings to personalize their chili. And a yummy cornbread muffin is a nice way to round out the meal.
– sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
– chopped green or red onions
– slices of avocado
– frito chips
– hot sauce
Another fun option that adds a real crunch: sprinkle a layer of fritos in the bottom of your crock before ladling the chili on top, Texas-style. Yum!
