Is excitement about college hoops heating up around your house? College sports have always held a special place in my heart, ever since I played soccer for West Virginia Wesleyan University. (Go, Lady Bobcats!) And this time of year, there are plenty of opportunities to catch an NCAA playoff game with some friends, family and good food.
Food being the key word there, because whether the game keeps you on the edge of your seat or is simply a good excuse to catch up with friends, great game-day eats are one thing every fan (or non-fan) can appreciate!
Looking for recipes that will win you MVP? You’re in luck! I’m sharing my favorite sweet and savory party-ready recipes that will have your friends and family cheering for more. Super easy when you prep and serve them in your favorite temp-tations pieces and super-delicious, too. Of course, each recipe is dunkable, in keeping with our b-ball theme. 😉 Everything from Bacon Cheeseburger Dip and my Mom’s famous Guacamole, to Apple Pie Fries and Cherry Cheesecake Dip.
And just to keep it interesting, each weekday in March we pitted one delicious recipe against another so fans could vote for their favorites and we’ve crowned one the Champion Game-Day Recipe of 2016.
And the winner is…my Buffalo Chicken Dip!
Of course, if you make any of these recipes (to help you decide how to cast your vote or for an actual playoff party), we want to see pix! Share them with me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram, as well as who you’re rooting for — in the NCAA or my March Madness Recipe Showdown!
