I really really really hope you are going to have more polka dot pigs and chickens.  I have been eyeing them for quite a while and finally have the extra money to get them, but the pigs are gone!

I just received my Temptations Old World Figural Pig Salt/Spice Holder in brown and loved it so much that I ordered the Chicken in brown to match all of my other Temptations Old World pieces.  I recently broke my sugar bowl and the pig is perfect for holding my sugar now.  I plan to use the Chicken to hold after dinner chocolate mint candies.  I remember reading a post saying that you were going to be adding a Sheep and Cow Salt/Spice Holder.  I’m not sure if that’s correct information, but I would love it if you did!  Please keep everyone posted on this . . .

and cannot find a nice butter dish.

    Thank you!

Tara, where or where have the cows gone?  I’ve been wishing and hoping to see them – the preview pictures were so great!!  Please bring them in or give us a little hint on when they will be available…  or even sadly, if for some reason they won’t be coming after all.  I had to buy 2 bookcases because I ran out of cupboard space for my temptations collection – my friends think I’m crazy but I say as an addiction goes..  this one is affordable!

Just recently started collecting Temptations in May 2011, and already have a buffet full.  First of all, I want to say thank you, Tara for making a wonderful product!  I would, however,  like to bring up  a couple of issues that I would love to see corrected.  Knowing that each piece is hand painted, I realize that each piece is unique, but, please could you match the die lots more accurately.  I collect the green, and it has three variations.  What I consider the original (my oval set and round set are this nice medium green and cream color.  Then, there is the more drab olive version (as in my 13×9 baker) and lastly in the round convertible set, which is a much lighter, brighter green.  I would really like my sets to match in shade.  Then  there is the issue of chipping, which is very prominent in the round convertible set.  Please, please address these issues, and you will  have me hooked for life!

  • Yarred328

Tara, what about a cute little donkey with a basket of flowers on its back?  There’s nothing more old world than a donkey! :)
